The Rotaract Club of Kandy had the honour of serving as the official Community Partner for MedEx 2025, a renowned medical exhibition recognized across Sri Lanka and Asia. Held on July 12th and 13th, 2025, at the Kandy City Centre, the exhibition brought together thousands of visitors, medical professionals, and specialists from both Sri Lanka and India under one roof. The invitation to partner with MedEx arose from the club’s strong social media presence and active engagement, which drew the attention of the event organizers. As Community Partner, the Rotaract Club of Kandy played a key role in assisting with coordination, translations, and logistical support throughout the two-day exhibition. Members also supported the participating Indian doctors and specialists, ensuring smooth communication with local visitors. In recognition of the club’s contribution, the organizers provided a dedicated stall for the Rotaract Club of Kandy. The space became a valuable platform for outreach and awareness, allowing the club to reach a broader audience and introduce Rotaract beyond its usual social media following. Visitors to the stall showed great interest in learning about Rotaract’s values, ongoing projects, and volunteer opportunities, helping the club build connections with potential new members and partners. MedEx 2025 provided the Rotaract Club of Kandy with a unique opportunity to expand its reach, strengthen its brand identity, and foster meaningful partnerships. The project effectively demonstrated the value of collaboration between professional organizations and youth-led movements, setting the stage for future initiatives that combine service, networking, and public engagement.
