Daymark was organized as a Public Image initiative jointly with the Rotary Club of Colombo City, with the objective of creating awareness and educating the public about globally recognised special days and social causes observed throughout the calendar year. Rather than limiting advocacy to a single theme, the project unfolded across multiple phases, each centred on a significant international observance and delivered through informative flyer and carousel campaigns on social media. Phase I, conducted on 25th November 2025, marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women under the theme “The Silence Ends Today – #OrangeTheWorld.” The campaign highlighted psychological, economic, and social forms of abuse while encouraging the public to recognise warning signs, support survivors, and break the silence surrounding gender-based violence in Sri Lanka. Phase II followed on 2nd February 2026 for World Wetlands Day, raising awareness about the ecological importance of wetlands in water purification, flood prevention, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability. Phase III, held on 7th April 2026 for World Health Day, promoted holistic well-being through practical guidance on physical and mental health, balanced lifestyles, and self-care. Through these phased campaigns, Daymark used digital platforms as an effective tool for education, advocacy, and community awareness. The project strengthened the Rotaract Club of Kandy’s public image while encouraging responsible action on issues that matter locally and globally.
