In an era where a digital footprint is as critical as a physical resume, the Rotaract Club of Kandy successfully hosted a transformative LinkedIn Workshop on 26th July, 2025. Held at the Leaders’ Retreat in Kandy, the event targeted school leavers and young professionals eager to navigate the competitive modern job market. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with Linkify, a platform dedicated to streamlining the LinkedIn profile-building process. Lead facilitator Mr. Affan Ahmed, Founder of Linkify, provided attendees with expert insights into personal branding and effective networking strategies. The initiative, falling under the Professional Development avenue, aimed to shift the perception of LinkedIn from a simple job-hunting site to a robust tool for career growth and networking. Participants explored several key areas: Profile Optimization — building a compelling and professional digital presence. Personal Branding — understanding how to stand out to global recruiters. Practical Tools — attendees received free access to the Linkify platform, utilizing AI-driven tools to refine their profiles.
