The Rotaract Club of Kandy successfully executed the “Decode Rotaract” project, a comprehensive professional development and orientation process designed to immerse new and prospective members in the true spirit of Rotaract. The initiative focused on providing an authentic experience through direct interaction and learning from seasoned club leaders. The core of the event was an inspiring and interactive panel discussion featuring three esteemed Past Presidents, each offering unique insights into the Rotaract journey. Rtr. Azzam Siyamdeen (Immediate Past President) shared the story of Rotaract, emphasising unforgettable memories, life-changing friendships, and personal lessons that continue to shape his path. Rtn. Tilani Subasinghe (Past President) focused on the true purpose behind impactful service projects, highlighting the power of thoughtful planning, meticulous execution, and effective reporting. Rtn. Mohomed Rehan (Past President) revealed how Rotaract serves as a foundation for enduring growth, leadership development, and establishing a sense of purpose that extends far beyond the movement itself.
