• Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today! was organized as an educational initiative focused on supporting students preparing for their Ordinary Level examinations. The project aimed to provide academic guidance,motivation, and essential examination preparation support through a series of specialized seminars conducted by experienced resource persons and volunteers. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Sasnaka Sansada Society with the shared goal of improving educational opportunities for underprivileged students and promoting equal access to quality education. The seminar series was conducted across multiple locations including Wimalarathne Kumaragama Maha Vidyalaya, Manikhinna and the Dikwella Rescue Center at Girls’ High School, Kandy in order to reach and support students from different backgrounds and communities affected by difficult circumstances. The project’s central objective was to to provide academic support for students preparing for Ordinary Level examinations. To conduct subject-focused and motivational seminar sessions. To improve students’ confidence and examination readiness. To support underprivileged students with educational guidance and opportunities. To encourage students to pursue higher educational achievements. To contribute towards improving educational equity within rural communities. To establish long-term educational partnerships and mentoring initiatives. To inspire youth leadership and personal development among students. Through this initiative, the Rotaract Club of Kandy demonstrated its enduring commitment to service above self, bringing together dedicated members who worked collaboratively to create meaningful outcomes for the community and strengthen the bonds of fellowship within the club.
