While the engines roared and the crowds gathered for the spectacles of Gearheads 2025, a different kind of high-performance operation was unfolding behind the scenes. Project Pitstop was a strategic fundraising and club service initiative executed during the massive motor show, serving as a vital engine for the club’s financial and internal growth. What began as a conceptual beverage and snack stall quickly evolved into a sophisticated business operation. Catering to the massive crowds at Sahas Uyana required intense logistical planning, inventory management, and seamless team coordination. The results of this venture were nothing short of remarkable. Financial Success: The project generated a net profit of LKR 49,991, all of which has been channeled directly back into the club’s community service fund to fuel future impact. Skill Development: Beyond the numbers, members gained invaluable hands-on experience in sales, customer service, financial accounting, and the complex logistics of large-scale event management. By turning a service opportunity into a profitable enterprise, Project Pitstop ensured that the excitement of Gearheads 2025 would leave a lasting legacy in our community service treasury. It was a day where hard work met hospitality, proving that every “Pitstop” is an opportunity to refuel our mission for the year ahead.
