On the 31st of August, the Hillwood College Auditorium lit up with applause, laughter, and plenty of proud smiles as Pinnacle 2025 took center stage. Jointly hosted by the Kandy Rotary Family, this annual awards ceremony became more than an event. Pinnacle is the moment everyone gathers to celebrate the dedication, grit, and impact of Rotaractors and Interactors who push boundaries throughout the previous Rotary year. With representatives from all 24 clubs in attendance, including the three Rotaract Clubs and twenty-one Interact Clubs, the atmosphere was buzzing from the moment the doors opened. Distinguished guests such as the District Rotaract Representative Elect and the Interact District Representative added an extra shine to a day already full of inspiration. Every detail was a team effort, from certificates and logistics to stage management and refreshing the crowd, thanks to the strong collaboration among the hosting clubs. And the hard work paid off. Award winners walked away recognized, clubs left feeling energized, and members gained a renewed drive to serve with even more passion. Pinnacle didn’t just hand out trophies. It visibly strengthened the bonds within the Kandy Rotary Family. The event sparked conversations, encouraged healthy competition, and allowed members to showcase the creativity and commitment behind the projects across the district.
